Bern and I went to view Kah Peng's art exhibition today (photos below). Some of his painting are quite marvelous. His are all landscape paintings of Malaysian and English heritage buildings, and some lovely scenic scenes. You could say his paintings are dreamy, idyllic and poetic. There is no 'chaos' or 'flaws' in it. They are serene and peaceful, each stroke predictive and guarded. Kah Peng is not like his paintings at all - in person he is glamorous, colorful, dramatic and noisy ;-) So, I do not know which is the 'real' Kah Peng...his paintings or himself?
